Kelly Crecco was born in Moorestown, New Jersey, but has lived most of her life in Wilmington, North Carolina. Kelly graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science, and a B.A. in Spanish. After graduation, she spent a year as an intake coordinator for Spanish-speaking patients at a health clinic in Wilmington before beginning law school. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During law school, Kelly served as the Executive Editor for UNC Law’s First Amendment Law Review, as the President of Child Action–a children’s advocacy student organization–and as a guardian ad litem in Orange County.
After her second year of law school, Kelly served as a summer intern at The Law Corner, and she continued to work at The Law Corner as a law clerk during her last year of law school. After passing the bar exam, Kelly transitioned to an associate attorney position. Kelly’s primary areas of practice are family law and estate planning.
